Country Aire Parks, there are two locations, (1) At the entrance, located on the East Side of North Fir as you enter Country Aire Estates. (2) On South Fir Avenue, West side just South of the College/S.Fir intersection. This is the location where the Swimming Pool is located and Park contains 2 Shelters with tables. The facility is controlled by the City of Broken Arrow and if you have questions, contact the Parks Department. Questions regarding the shelters should also be directed to the City of Broken Arrow Parks Department, including reserving the facilities.
Country Aire Parks are there for the enjoyment of all and we need to help keep them in excellent condition and safe for the use of the citizens. All of us need to be observant and report discrepancies or activities that are observed that detrimental to our expectations.
As we all know that Country Aire Park is utilized
for bus stop purposes for the students since many stops were
discontinued in the neighborhood. There have been several instances of
trash barrels being rolled from the shelters down into the drainage
ditches, both with and without trash leaving a trail from the origin to
destination. Tables have been turned over on tops or sides and some
times even being utilized as a swing or seesaw.
This destruction
or damage to the park and equipment needs to be ended before we have
some injuries to the students or even removal of damage equipment, which
probably would not be replaced.
If you see action of this nature and
the identity of the parties involved, contact their parents and advise
of the incident, or make contact as noted below with the Broken Arrow
Police Department.
If you observe any actions that are taking place
at the park, please take time and contact the Broken Arrow Police
Department and report the action. Their Non-Emergency number is
259-8400 and advise them that there is a problem in the Country Aire
Park. If you observe action that you feel could lead to injury, then
you should contact them via the emergency number, 911.
Lets all keep watch on the park and keep it in usable condition.
